i guess i'll update since i haven't spoken with many of you lately. life is good, i am busy, hopefully graduating soon. i think my last post was in february, lets see what has happened from then to now. i met a boy, fell in love, then he broke up with me, big surprise. school is okay, i have had a quarter life crisis, and i am definately not going to law school now. i listen to music religiously and have ready several books lately. my friends have mostly graduate, which is sad, but thats part of growing up i guess. a lot of people i know are getting married, a lot, i don't know how to emphasize that enough. people i have dated are getting married, people i have liked, are getting married, so scary. i hopefully will be moving sometime soon to get away from here, i don't know what else to do with my life. i'm bored basically, and i need some new excitement.

classes started over a week ago, break was GREAT and i got to see a lot of my friends from high school and a lot of my family. yeah classes, i am so lazy this semester, classes are easy and i am just not compelled to study or do anything. lets see what the line up has for this semester:

-spanish composition: booooring, but the cute guy is in my class again this semester, how fortunate am i?...so anyway
-middle eastern history: will be easy since i've already had a class on the middle east.
-international organizations: lots of reading, but generally easy this semester, we have one paper that should be easy.
-history composition: so i can get a double major in history, yeah easy class.
-sylvia plath literature/life: seems good, lots of reading, but i love plath, what can i say.

i cut down the 15 hours, kind of scary huh. the campaign is well going as well as i expected. rudy and i have done a lot of work. i think i am just bored with school right now. i got a packet from villanova law school today, i think i am applying to some schools in philly, dc, nyc instead of applying to schools in the south. i really want to go somewhere that i've never been to go to school, and start anew. i am tired today, mainly because i slept in until noon. i didn't have to work this morning, my measily 6 hours a week. i am going to starbucks tonight to get some coffee mm mm. i loooove starbucks.

i had a conversation the other day and i explained my philosophy on life, interesting. i started writing again recently with the onset of plath in my life. so if law school doesn't work out, i can always become a prolific writer and my works will never be fully appreciated until years after my death. i had a weird dream last night too, i had a dream my latin teach from high school, but in the dream she was my english teach in college, killed herself, it was weird. the reason she did it was because i kept asking her about my grades in her class it was weird as hell. i can not stop thinking about it.

okay i just returned from a party, so happy new years to all. i haven't updated in a while, because i have of course been in texas. the yearly cyncism, and things to come. 2004...what else can i say, a year of being single, taking too many hours, and working my rear end off in attempts to do...i have no earthly idea. so tonight i went to jay's house, it was just both our families, so it was nice and fun. i wanted to go to a party with a certain guy who never called me back until oh 5 minutes ago, oh and he got it. this will be my 21st year of being single on new years, and 20th year without a kiss. hah. how tragic, not really. so today i bought jay-z's the black albumn, and house of bush, house of saud. it should be interesting, i like reading anything about politics. lets think what else...well let me put this year in review. january last year i was hanging out with clay at the radio station counting down until new years, febuary was sad with no valentines, but ryan and i went to dinner anyway and then out to the theater with jay and his date, and we met up with nic there. march and april are blury, i am sure i gave up something for lent and of course failed to follow through with it. then comes may, school got out, and i started looking for a job. june came and i finally got a job and my sister graduated, this summer i took 15 hours. july came and it was nice and warm here, august brought a new year for school. september through november was football games and ambassadors events. now, with december passed and 2005 upon us, it is time to look to a new chapter in my life. i have no resolutions this year, because i don't know, i think they are pointless. i never follow them, much like lent. so this year, i am going to propose i will be happy with being single another year (if thats what the plan is...maybe i'll find someone to suit me), i will enjoy making new friends (since most of mine have graduated), i will pursue my political ambitions (and hopefully win), i will be more kind to people and more patient, i will realize i need to look out for myself, i will realize i need to apply for law school, i hopefully will find some direction in my life. earlier this week, when i was still in dallas, i felt like i needed to move back there. unless i find a miraculous person in the next year in a half, and i am a skeptic, i will probably move back to texas sometime soon, pending on which law school i am able to gain admissions. okay, and i really like this guy, and he doesn't get it. i need to play it cool, yeah like that ever happens. i get so nervous about it, and i need to remind myself he will only like the genuine me. then again, why should i care, and why should i wait around? on a lighter note...christmas gifts include: money from my parents, new pajamas, a couple of sweaters, john mayer dvd, garden state dvd, donnie darko dvd, clothes from my grandparents, clinique happy, and maybe some other stuff...

so yeah its like 6:20 am and i just finished my middle eastern politics take home final, whew, it was hard solving the israeli-palestinian conflict in LESS THAN 7 PAGES! jeez. i am so tired now, i need to go eat breakfast and sleep until my spanish final. wow. i hate spanish sooo much. countdown until i leave for dallas: 9 days! whoow! so so excited. yeah jenn hasn't returned my phone calls, so i am pretty pissed off at her, but oh well i don't have to be her friend anyway. i should call rudy in a minute to see if he wants to eat breakfast. i am so tired of writing papers this semester, only one more and i am dooone. ok i think i am peacing out so i can go grab food before we have to turn in this final, and then i have to study for spanish vigorously before i take that test.

Exciting stuff is in store...

So I am going to Dallas/Ft. Worth area for TWO WEEKS! I am SOOOO excited. I will see my friends from high school, my family, my cousins, my friends, etc. I am going to see Brian yay! I am pumped and so excited. We leave in less than two weeks to go! Oh and then we had a Holiday Bazaar of sorts at the sorority house today (thanks to your lovely Fundraising Chairman, me). We raised almost $400 which was quite delightful. Plus my mom bought me lots of stuff so I was excited. On the note of gift giving, my birthday, yes the big 2-1 is next Friday. Oh crazy times! Cass, Kristy, and I are going out, and then we are probably meeting up with Tom and Pam sometime in there. Oh it will be girls night out, so exciting. Paul may go with us as well, but who knows. This is ever more exciting as the days go by. Lets think what else is new, hm... I really thought I was enjoying being single until just recently. I don't know, I think it is all the couples at the mall. Its not that I am upset, but I want someone to buy clothes for at Christmas, if that makes sense. I love shopping for guys. They had the cutest guy stuff tonight at Express for Men and Gap. Oh jeez I need to find someone to shop for haha. I talked to my mom on the phone like ten million times today, we kept calling back and forth, it was nice. She turned 50 on friday, weird.

its been a while, but lets see what going on as of late...

i met a boy, i really like him, but i think he has a girlfriend. the tragedy of my life seriously. i went to this party and i met him, but i had known him since last year. he's very cute and intellegent. so he walked me back from the party to my dorm, and we sat up and talked until 7 am, yes i know that is crazy, because it really was. well who knows, such is life.
thanksgiving break is two days away and i am SO excited to be going home! i can not wait to just sleep in my own bed and hang out with my family. thank goodness. ryan and i are going out i think on saturday, i can not wait to see him! yay yay! ryan is back in town!!
my birthday is only a couple of sweet weeks away. i can not wait, i FINALLY turn 21, i think i am the youngest person that i hang out with. i think this is all.

long time no update, i did not fall off the face of the earth everyone despite the fact i haven't seen much else besides the library this week...go me. i have been really stressed out lately, i am finally done with my senior project, thank god! i registered for classes last week, i still need another class. so far this is what i am taking:
history 200 (so i can double major in history)
spanish 305 (its like writing or something)
english 462 literature/poetry of sylvia plath
history 232 middle eastern history
polisci 405 international organizations

i think i am going to fill that void with international trade, so who konws. does anyone know any good 400 level economics classes to take, if so point me in that direction.

Okay I would encourage all of you to get out and vote today, it is election day and all. This is how democracy works, you vote, leaders get elected, and so on and so forth. So please, whatever you do today, make sure voting is involved! Seriously, if you do not vote I will refuse to talk to you for a while because I will view you as lazy and apathetic. Also I would encourage you to vote for a canidate that best suits your beliefs, the key is VOTING, not particularly who you vote for. I would like to you vote John Kerry, but thats just my opinion.
